Quick Update

Don't you just hate it when LIFE gets in the way? I fell on the ice on January 11th and broke my leg. So here I am in a cast for at least another two weeks! I didn't know that a broken leg could hurt so bad and keep me from taking care of business. I am in a wheelchair, because I do not handle crutches very well. I am more of a hazard to myself and to others when I try to walk with crutches, so the Doctor said I should probably use the wheelchair. I have one for when my RA flares up.

So that is why the absence in posting, not that I am very good at keeping up with posting in my blog. I use to do the same thing when I tried to keep a diary!

Anyway, I am trying to get back to my business, I have had orders and have been able to take care of them, with the help of my husband. Which by the way, we both had a bad case of the stomach flu a week or so after I broke my leg. What a joy that was! :(

Two days before I broke my leg, I set 10 chicken eggs in the incubator, my husband, Randy, had to turn the eggs and monitor the temps and humidity for the next 19 or so days. He hatched out 7 cute little chickies! They are growing like little weeds. I am looking forward to warmer weather, so I can put them outside. We have them in our "mudroom/utility" room now.

Okay until next time, take care and may the Good Lord Bless and Keep you!
